A new season...a new day!

It's a new season...
Well, 2013 is now a chapter that has come to a close in this story we call life.  It was filled with ups and downs, triumphs and failures, happy and sad times.  We faced new challenges and made happy memories.  Now it's 2014 and I am looking toward the future with GREAT Expectation!  I don't know exactly what the next year will hold for me (or my family) but I do know that I have never wanted to hold onto Jeremiah 29:11 (For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord...plans to prosper you...to give you a hope and a future) more than I do right now. As a mom, wife, friend, minister and woman I have many shortcomings.  I face doubts and fears and am having to learn daily to walk out FAITH instead.  There are times I am successful and times I am not.  I think that is true for all of us.
I have decided that to track this next chapter is a great way to hold myself accountable and to see the great changes that I know are going to be brought about.  I am choosing to chase the dreams God has placed in my heart and becoming a better person (mom...wife...friend...woman) than I have been in the past.  I want to be healthier and happier!  AND I want that for YOU!  I would love for you to come along on this journey with me.  It will take some transparency and lots of getting out of our comfort box BUT TOGETHER we can do it!
I started my morning by becoming accountable for a Health Goal I need to attain.  It wasn't a pleasant experience but it was one I knew I had to take (and to be honest with myself about).  I know we risk much in honesty but in order to gain much, you have to take that risk.
So, here's to a new chapter...a happy chapter...a healthy chapter and a MOVING FORWARD chapter.
Let's choose to only look back to learn from our experiences.  Let's choose to continue to MOVE FORWARD, walking in the destiny we have been called.
